Artist Statement
During my childhood I spent most of my time outside enveloped in nature and my artistic inspiration is rooted in the unlimited creativity that came with playing outside. Expressing myself through art is a therapeutic ritual for me and keeps me grounded. The reason I create art is to reinvigorate that same childlike wonder in others because it is often lost in the transition to adulthood. I also hope to inspire children to reconnect with the world around them and spend more time outside and utilize their creativity to play.
